But Old MacDonald’s animals have gone missing!

       Can you help a friendly scientist and his amazing time machine get them   
       back for him?

 

        Presented by the team behind There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A  
       Fly  and written especially for parents to enjoy with their children, this fun filled 
       farmyard tale brings to life all the best loved characters from the original  
       nursery rhyme along with a magical medley of games, giggles and sing
       along songs including Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, She’ll Be
       ComingRound The Mountain and of course Old MacDonald Had A Farm.

 

        So come and relive the delights of this most charming of tales told with a
        captivating combination of live action, puppetry and animation by one of the
        UK’s leading theatre companies.

Duggie Chapman MBE will be ensuring fun for all this Christmas when he brings his family favourite,  Snow White and The Magnificent Seven, to the Preston Charter Theatre this Christmas  Jam-packed with fun, laughter, hissing and good old fashioned slap-stick it’ll be a show not to be missed.

Written and directed by Duggie, this year’s show will be a festive treat complete with a live band, beautiful costumes and spectacular sets not to mention a talented cast with years of experience.

 Starring none other than, comedy legend Jimmy Cricket in the role of Muddles audiences are sure to be delighted both young and old.  Famous for his trademark wellies on the wrong feet and funny hat, theatre-goers are bound to be told “come ere!”, “and there’s more” as he reads his letter from his mammy!

 

Supporting Jimmy are the Magnificent Seven, more commonly known as Goody, Loopy, Noisy, Lazy, Sneezy, Growler and Shabby played by Malcolm, Trevor, Mark, Melanie, Blake, Luke and Glynn.  Magnificent couldn’t be more appropriate as their combined film and tv credits give most of Hollywood a run for their money.  Credits include Star Wars, Harry Potter, Willow, Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, Labyrinth and Phoenix Nights to name but a few!  Experts in pantomimes as well as tv and film, the Magnificent Seven guarantee plenty of giggles.

 

Also joining the cast is Jim Whelan as the Henchman, a regular on Coronation Street as Rev Todd and with other tv credits including The Liver Birds, Crown Court, Cracker, Heartbeat, Emmerdale, The Royle Family, Blackpool and Last of the Summer Wine. 

Panto veteran Pete Lindup will be appearing in his 25th pantomime as Sarah The Cook alongside Yvonne Patterson as Queen Cruella.  Yvonne’s theatre credits include Helen in A Taste of Honey, Lady Hewlett in WAG!- the musical which ran in the West End.

Adam Trembath will make his Preston debut as The Prince and Blackpool gal Kristina Castellina will take on the title role of Snow White.
