The Guild Hall venue is positioned one floor above street level and is accessed via the Guild Hall shopping centre on Lancaster Road with escalators ascending and descending as well as a lift that gives direct access to the Foyer area and Grand Hall as well as The Charter Theatre, Celebrity Restaurant and Avenham Suite. There is also direct pedestrian access via the bus station multi story car park that feeds directly into the Guild Hall Promenade area.

Both the Grand Hall and Charter Theatre have designated areas for wheelchair users or those who are otherwise of severely restricted mobility. The limited number of tickets for these areas are free of charge when booked with an escort's ticket at the regular price – an escort must accompany each disabled person.  Please advise the Box Office of any special requirements at the time of booking.  The Grand Hall and Charter Theatre have adapted toilet facilities and easy access to the bar and lounge areas.  Grand Hall and Charter Theatre staff will be glad to give any assistance required from point of arrival at the venue and Guide Dogs are welcome. 

Both the Grand Hall and Charter Theatre are equipped with the Sennheiser infra-red audio transmission system to assist customers with impaired hearing. A free stethoset receiver may be requested at any performance.
